Pinterest, one of our favorite social media tools, is getting a makeover and now adding an analytics component to better serve business owners. It is not a requirement that you go to the new look yet, but in a few weeks everyone will be switched over. We switched over to the new look this week to get acclimated to it so we could better serve our clients. They are still working out the bugs, but some of the nicest features we enjoyed right away were:
- Larger Pins to better show off images
- Larger print on the sidebars
- Larger print in the Bio Section
One of the items we disliked was the changes to comments. At the time of this article you could no longer comment directly onto pins, you must click on them first. It is also more difficult to remove yourself from contributor boards, especially if they contain a large number of contributors.
