When it is down to the wire and only a few shopping days left, it’s not time to close out the year. There is still time for you to make some more money over the Christmas season and add some WOW to your end of year sales. Believe it or not, people ARE still shopping for those last minute gifts and having a great deal now may cinch your chance that they buy from YOU and not your competitor.
Check out these last minute sale ideas to bring in some revenue that may surprise you:
Forget Black Friday: Most people run their BIG sales days on Black Friday. Why not dare to be different. Come up with a creative sale that you can use with only a few days left for the holiday. You will stand out from the crowd having great deals when most people already had them. In case you didn’t notice, more and more people are only running sales on Black Friday and people’s email boxes are getting inundated which means they are reading less and less. You can be different.
Flash Sale: Flash Sales are fun because they are fast and can bring about a lot of hype. Give a BIG deal, but only for a limited time to bring in a bunch of sales on an item that your customers will love to get their hands on for themselves or to give as last minute gifts.
Offer Free Shipping: For a limited time you can offer free shipping! This is a great way to entice buyers to save some money. They also may be prone to paying more because they will have extra money to spend to save from the shipping cost.
Free Gift Wrapping: At the last minute, some people don’t want to bother wrapping. If it is possible to include a free gift card or shipping, go for it!
Quantity Discount: You know all those last minute people that you don’t want to spend a lot on, but need a gift for? YOU could be the solution! Offer a bulk discount on a smaller product that could be gifted to multiple people.
Free Gift with Purchase: Have a special touch that you can add, give the gift of a freebie! It doesn’t have to be something physical. It can be an e-book or audio download or an e-gift card.
Which of these tips have you used? What works best for you? I’m always looking for new ideas!
