The big 3 social media platforms have some fun new updates going on! Social media always changes and if you don’t keep up with it, you will get lost in the shuffle! Here are the updates on the latest features:
Instagram Color and Fade
Even with the addition of all of the fun new filters, Instagram is adding even more fun to your photos. They have just rolled out Color and Fade to allow you to add a Color overlay over your images or Fade to soften the look and make it look more retro or vintage. As of this posting, this feature is only available on Android, but will be available on i0S sometime soon. I have an Android so I’ve been enjoying it.

Facebook Selling in Groups
There were lots of rumors about making it easy to sell in Facebook groups, but I’ve just noticed it rolling out. The feature does not seem to be available in all groups just yet, but I did notice it in one of the groups I was in.

Twitter Retweet with Comment
One of my biggest complaints about Twitter was that when you wanted to comment with a tweet it wasn’t very easy from the desktop. It was made somewhat easier through the app, but still wasn’t perfect. Now when you choose to retweet a comment, you are given the option with a comment box to add your information to the tweet.
You can see that the little box popped up so I had the option to add whatever I wanted to say to Kim’s tweet. It is optional and you do not have to add anything if you don’t want to. If you click retweet, it will retweet as normal.
If you do decide to add a comment the way that I did, it changes the way that the tweet appears in the feed compared to a normal retweet.
Instead of the picture showing up to be full size, it now shows up really tiny and even cuts off the pretty images. This is the part about it that I absolutely do not like. The only way to see the image at full size is to click on it to get it to show. Hopefully in time, this will be fixed so that the images show just as nicely as they did originally.
