Business can have its good times and bad. Starting a business or even one that is a little established can have some really rough times ahead. When you look at your business what do you see? Is it exactly how you imagined it? If you are like more entrepreneurs, it is probably not perfect. If it is, I’m very happy for you! For most business owners it is only a fraction of the large vision that is seen, but have you looked at the big picture?
What do you want your business to look like in 5 years? Will you have more divisions? More info-products? Will you be hiring on some permanent team members or outsourcing more of the work? The best thing to do is think of your business how you want it to be and then run it that way. Don’t think of it as just some small business. Run it and treat it like the big business that you want it to be. That is one of the keys to getting it to be how you envision it in your mind.
Do you feel like you are working too much and your business is a chore? If you look at how you want your business to look down the line, is that how you would be working?
Do you have enough customers to give you a steady income or could you use a few more to really go into more development and advertising?
Have you wished that you had the time to create more programs and info products because you see it in your future? Do you have some items that you wish that you could give to someone else for the day to day operations?
Whatever your goals may be, they are attainable, but you need to figure out how you see the big picture. Even if it is rough right now or you are working yourself to the bone, in your idea world it won’t be that way. What small steps can you take towards your goals today to make that vision a reality?
Break your goals down into smaller bite sized pieces until you reach the goals that you want to see in 5 years. That is a lot of time if you make small strides to reaching them. The way that you see your business right now is not the way that it has to be. All you need to do is grab hold of the dream and GO FOR IT!
