Have your pins gotten a little out of control? Did you make fewer boards than you needed and then just started bunches of pins on one board just to get them up there? I’ve done it too and previously, the ability to clean up your boards was tiresome and tedious, which meant no one wanted to do it, including me. The exciting thing is that Pinterest just rolled out a new feature to account that will make getting organized with Pinterest a cinch!
Here’s how it works:
When you click on a board, on the right hand you will see a new set of features that you can use on your pins:
If you select “Move Pins”, you have the option to Move, Copy or Delete the pins in bulk. Currently, you can move 50 at a time. Great way to duplicate a board or move a large quantity to another board. All you do is click which option you would like to do and then click the small box with the check mark to perform whatever function you select. It’s that easy. This will be so much than trying to do the same things one at a time.
This is a great way for you to create more boards that have a more specific topic to make it easier for your audience to search without the hassle. Remember, having a lot of boards that are full of quality content is not a bad thing. Fewer boards with lots of content that could be broken up better is not nearly as attractive. Test the feature out!
