Facebook likes on posts

Notice anything about your Facebook buttons lately? Take a second look at your Facebook ‘Like’ and ‘Share’ buttons! I really like the new look with  the dark blue color. You can see the new buttons in this article here:

P.S. Did you know about the potential hidden ‘Want’ button? Wouldn’t that be neat to find out even more about what your customers want? You can read more about the button here:

‘Like’ The New Facebook ‘Want’ Button

Now, I’m know it is all well and good that these buttons are around, but you really want your audience to press them more often, right? Here are some fun ways to get more ‘Like’s and ‘Share’s on your Facebook posts:

1.  Post Recipes or uses of your product:  Write in the copy for your audience to share the recipe so it will save to their Facebook album for later. They will have the recipe/photo and it will create engagement for you!

2. Use Funny Pictures or Custom Funny E-Cards: I’ve got to admit that no matter what niche you serve, there are some really great photos out there that capture the way that your audience feels. Those E-cards can be some of your most shared posts. If you dig through there are some really great ones or you can even create your own.

3. A Unique Tip or Perspective: The way that you think about certain things is unique to you. Don’t be afraid to shed a little light on it. Do you do things a unique way? Maybe have a neat trick to share that you may think is mundane? Share them!

4. Use Unique Motivational Quotes: If you network or like other business pages you are going to see a lot of the same quotes used over and over again. Really take the time to look for one that you have never seen before. Write them down from your favorite books or TV shows as you are enjoying them. This is one that I have used from one of my books that was unique to my page:

Let me know what happens when you try some of these out!  What is your favorite way to get more engagement from your audience? I’d love to hear some fun tips from you!
