Shopping can be tough, especially when it is for clients. It is possible that you can have fun with it. The more you know about your clients/customers, the easier it will be, but these are some ideas to help you find the right gift. You don’t need to have a huge budget either. Some of the best gifts are ones from the heart. Some of these ideas are generic and some are more specific, but this Holiday Gift Guide will help you get your wheels turning.
Gift of Time: This gift won’t cost you anything, but your time and expertise. Perhaps you could offer an hour of your time for free to help with something that is really pressing to your client. If you are involved in direct sales, you may want to offer a free hour of your time to your business builders to take a closer look at how you can help them grow their business. You also may be able to offer something small from your services package that could be just enough to help someone. With your hectic schedule, I’d definitely recommend having these hours effective after New Years and put a specific deadline on when they need to be used.
Handmade Gifts: If you love to bake or craft, giving a gift straight from your heart could make the world of difference. You could mail cookies. bread, mini loaves, brownies or any other tasty treat that you enjoy making. You could craft a box, picture frame, mason jar gift, or create a stack of thank you cards.
Books: If you are uncertain of whether someone has allergies to scents or foods or don’t want to get that personal, you can always give the gift of books. There are so many great business and motivational books to choose from. These are easy to ship from Amazon and they will even gift wrap it and attach a card for a small additional fee.
Gift Cards: This is another service that you can do right through Amazon. You can purchase the gift cards yourself if you know exactly where your client/customer would like to go, or you can get them a generic E-Gift Card from Amazon. This allows for greater flexibility in what is purchased.
Coffee: If you know a coffee lover, not only can you give Starbucks gift cards, but you could also ship them some coffee with a nice tumbler. You could even add a bottle of their favorite flavored shot. You could ship it straight from Amazon or put it together in a gift basket or box yourself and gift wrap it. You could also do cocoa with marshmallows or tea with diffuser bags.
Office Supplies: Who doesn’t love to have new pens, pencils, highlighters, calendars, journals and planners. This is a great gift and when they have it on their desk, they will always think of you.
This is just the start of some great ideas. The sky is the limit. Allow your creativity to shine through!
