As a business owner, you really need to stand out from the crowd. Customer service is key. Sadly, as tough as the market is, businesses still don’t know to say “Thank You” to their customers. Unfortunately, they still get emails full of spam, products launch promotions and social media that just tells them to “Buy Now”. One easy way to stick out is to show your gratitude and actually find a way to tell them thank you with something that is unexpected. A great way is with a Christmas card. You send them out to your friends and family so why not send them out to your customers?
There are some really great ways to send out Christmas Cards. Here are some ideas:
1. Send Out Cards: This is a fun way to get your cards sent out with all sorts of designs. You can even customize what they say to suit each customer.
2. E-cards: There are plenty of free E-cards online that you can send out to your customers or you can design and email version yourself through your mail provider.
3. Old Fashioned Christmas Cards: I still love getting things in the mail and I’ll bet your customers do too. What a great thing it would be for them to open a card that is written by hand with a personal not just for them.
4. Handmade Cards: This is my personal favorite and something that I LOVE to do. If you don’t want to make them yourself or know someone who does, there are many online small business owners who do this as a profession. You would be supporting small business as well as giving your customers a card that is one of a kind.
If you want to really stand out from the crowd, you can also have small gifts included to your customers in the cards or have something sent to the separately. There are some great services online and some really cute ideas that any customer would love.
This is a tradition that you can keep to, not only for Christmas, but also for other holidays too. If you have been reluctant to try it before, this is a great time to start.
Don’t forget your team members too! If you are in direct sales or if you have a staff, this is a great way to stay connected and show them that you really care. You’ll be amazed at how much harder they will push because you were kind enough to think of them.
If you are running low on time, or your team/customer base is too large for you to handle this is also a service that you can delegate. All you would need to do is provide the names, addresses and the greetings and I take care of the rest. This is something that you can take off of your plate and know that your cards/emails are going to reach your customers.
Have you ever sent out personalized Christmas cards? What methods do you use? I’d love to hear from you.
